adesso reaches the milestone of 10,000 employees worldwide

In just three years, the adesso Group's workforce has doubled.
Roz Sabir, data scientist at adesso Netherlands, is the 10,000th person to join the team.

The growth of the adesso Group continues unabated. Founded in 1997 as the idea of two people, the company now counts 10,000 employees and, thanks to its recent expansion, has already achieved the growth target it set itself for 2023. With over 60 locations worldwide, adesso is pursuing its internationalisation strategy with even more intensity than before.
The adesso Group is present in 15 countries worldwide, and in the last two years alone, seven subsidiaries have been established in as many countries. "We are strengthening adesso's international position so that the company can become a leading IT service provider in Europe outside Germany, Austria and Switzerland," said Dirk Pothen, member of the Executive Board of adesso SE and head of the Group's internationalisation process. "By increasing the number of employees, branches and subsidiaries, we want to maintain and continue to promote our unique culture."

The adesso Group's employee number 10,000 is Roz Sabir. Sabir, originally from the Netherlands and a graduate in artificial intelligence and computer science, previously worked for Apple and for the IT service provider of the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security. "adesso is a pioneer in the field of digital transformation, artificial intelligence and engineered software solutions," Sabir said. "I am looking forward to new projects and challenges and am happy to be part of the Group."
